Not Enemies Of The Show
Brotherhood of Evil Mentions

There may be other X-Men podcasts out there, but I don't need to listen to them. This is the only one I need to listen to.

- Peter Rios, Comic Geek Speak

The X-Cast is like The Truman Show. Like the viewers of the show within the movie world, I sleep better at night knowing that Rob and Brian are out there, fighting the good fight, living the American dream promised them by the 1990s.

Episode 51: Mike Carey and Balls

This week we try and play a little catch up in On Shelves Now and review Astonishing 27, Manifest Destiny 2, X-Men Legacy 216, Uncanny X-Men 502, and X-Force 7.

Then we bring Mike Carey back on the show to talk in depth about X-Men Legacy and the future of his X-work.

In Retro Reviews we argue over the quality of New Mutants 24 and 25, Uncanny X-Men 191 and 192, and the original Iceman mini-series.

And as always we finish up with a Fastball Special.

Plus: Bumper Girl wears the pants in the Briscoe household, Brian argues why kids 1 and under should trick or treat, and balls just keep coming up.

You can download the show on iTunes or right here.
