Not Enemies Of The Show
Brotherhood of Evil Mentions

There may be other X-Men podcasts out there, but I don't need to listen to them. This is the only one I need to listen to.

- Peter Rios, Comic Geek Speak

The X-Cast is like The Truman Show. Like the viewers of the show within the movie world, I sleep better at night knowing that Rob and Brian are out there, fighting the good fight, living the American dream promised them by the 1990s.

    Episode 27: Under Protest

First rule of Fight Club... Don't talk about fight club.

That's right, the gloves finally come off in Episode 27! Brian gets REALLY feisty and Rob finishes the podcast under protest.

But inbetween punches, we manage to review Wolverine Origins 16, Uncanny X-Men 489, X-Factor 22 and New X-Men 41.

We also go Inside the Mansion with lifetime tag-along Skids.

In Retro Reviews the golden age of X-Men begins in The Dark Phoenix Saga part 1, issues 129 through 133.

And in one of our more... creative... Top 5's we pick theme songs for X-characters using Disney songs!

And in case you're not already dying to listen, we've got two words for you: X-Cast Rap.

Download it right here or on iTunes!

And here's the lyrics to the rap:

Episode 22: We waited a year for... this?

And we're back! And just to warn everyone tempers fly early and often in this episode about how hard exactly is it to put a comic out monthly, is Armor lame, and are we about to see the worst Uncanny X-Men roster of all time?

In 22 we review New Excalibur 19, X-Factor 19, Astonishing X-Men 21, and go in depth finishing off Brubaker's space opera in Uncanny X-Men 486.

We go "Inside the Mansion" with cult favorite Illyana Rasputin a.k.a. Magik. (Yes, Brian finally got a New Mutant to soapbox about, and yes it goes on as long as you'd think)

And in our "Retro Reviews" we take a look at issues 111 through 113 of Uncanny X-Men.

Episode 19: Memories of a fictional mammoth-shaped human mutant

    Ladies and gentleman, Episode 19. This week we review New X-Men 36, X23 #4, Uncanny 485 and X-Men 197.

We celebrate the life that was Maximus Jensen, a.k.a. Mammomax, in our most tearjerking edition of "Inside the Mansion". *Also the last time Rob will EVER be allowed to do ITM*

This weeks retros reviews are: Uncanny 100 - 103, and we also take a look at June's soliciations.

Plus learn more exciting facts like why you don't want to buy Rob's comic collection, why Brian is so excited about Marvel Adventures Iron Man #3, how to win custom Uncanny X-Cast art, and speculation on exactly how someone reads comics in Nepal.
