Not Enemies Of The Show
Brotherhood of Evil Mentions

There may be other X-Men podcasts out there, but I don't need to listen to them. This is the only one I need to listen to.

- Peter Rios, Comic Geek Speak

The X-Cast is like The Truman Show. Like the viewers of the show within the movie world, I sleep better at night knowing that Rob and Brian are out there, fighting the good fight, living the American dream promised them by the 1990s.

Episode 64: X-Phone with Zeb Wells

This week we have a chat on the X-Phone with writer for the re-launched New Mutants book, Zeb Wells! Zeb talks New Mutants, possible returns to the team, homemade superhero videos, and Robot Chicken. Hope you enjoy!

To see the references videos in the show by Zeb, check them out here on youtube. I highly recommend Spiderman's Agent!

    Episode 61: We've Got A Woody

This week we once again try to keep up with the nonstop barrage of X-Men comics and review X-Force 13, X-Infernus 4, the X-Men Kingbreaker mini, Young X-Men 12 and Manifest Destiny: Nightcrawler.

Then we get a very special call from Rob's brother Woody. The topics in this call are frankly too disturbing to ever print here.

In Retro Reviews we rid ourselves of the Beyonder forever by finishing Secret Wars 8, New Mutants 37, Uncanny X-Men 203 and Secret Wars 9.

And as always we finish up with a fastball special.

Highlights include the importance of busts, deals at the Pig, blatant lies, and the stalking of Brian P. Also, our apologies to everyone offended in this episode.

Episode 58: The X-Phone with Andy Schmidt

This week we're trying something a little different. Generally we put our X-Phone segment into a regular episode which leads to the following:

    1. A three hour episode
    2. Us half awake for the last hour of said episode
    3. Rob wanting to hang himself a halfway through editing the episode

So we've decided since the X-Phones are generally about an hour long, we'd release them as standalone episodes. Hopefully nobody minds this format change, but if you do... well... tough. :)

This week we've got on IDW Publishing Senior Editor Andy Schmidt. You may ask yourself, what the heck does IDW have to do with the X-Cast? Well, Andy edited the X-Men over at Marvel for about five years. That's what! We talk with Andy about his days with the X-Men, dealing with the "where's Kitty Pryde??" problem, G.I. Joe, Transformers, Peter David and Fallen Angel, friend of the show and artistic genius Robert Atkins, and a bunch of other editorial-esque stuff. Hope you enjoy and we'll be back with a regular episode soon!
